THE BREEDERS FORUM
promoting best practice in breeding
First established in 2002, as a platform to provide the very best of
veterinary, welfare and behavioural information to breeders.
The Forum is offered free of charge to all breeders, regardless of their chsen breed, in the interest of
promoting best practice,and offers access to cutting edge information from expert speakers,
and opportunity to exchange information and benefit from shared experience.

The Forum has grown from strength to strength, and is endorsed by both the
Governing Council of the Cat Fancy and the Feline Advisory Bureau

The Forum is normally held on alternate years
Forum 2010 was held on Sunday 18th July and considered the changing needs, and systems, of older cats.
Thanks to the continuing support of the FAB we
welcomed two lecturers from the University of Bristol
Veterinary School -
FAB Feline Resident Rachel Korman
and Fort Dodge Felive Scholar
Samantha Taylor
(her final engagement before the arrival of baby!)
The support of the GCCF allowed us to intrduce a
discussion of the new Breeding Policy, ably
explained by author of the document and member of
Executive, Steve Crow
We were also pleased to welcome Lucy Brett from Ceva,who
demonstrated her knowledge of feline behaviour in an
entertaining talk on problems familiar to
many breeders!
